I updated Firefox 10 something what a mistake, can't use my realplayer to download YouTube. The add-on doesn't work anymore (they did warn me about this though I have to say). It also highlights different words in paragraphs for no apparent reason, very fucked up. Anyways I decided to try Chrome. The first site I went to was CDGs and it works fine so far. I can use realplayer on Youtube so it looks like I won't be using firefox as often which is a shame I am so used to it.

I stopped updating my FireFox because of the fucked-up "improvements" you mention.

Uninstall FireFox then download an older version. In settings ban it from updating automatically and you can browse and enjoy your favourite sites the way you used to prior to upgrading.

I recently upgraded to latest verison of uTorrent and frankly it's fucked, they even introduced a stars rating system.

Newer versions don't always mean better.
