I'd say the odds are against him. Even if they get him sewn up, he has so much damage that he will likely have a major infection. He will probably lose the left arm. He will need a tremendous amount of care just to keep him from going into shock and chances are that hospital isn't equipped for the level of care he needs. I'm not sure I would want to survive if I were that torn up.
