First, a little background on me. I joined CDG in 2012. It was a perfect site for a guy like me who had had extremely violent gay fantasies since I was a little kid. I loved the content. Couldn’t get enough of the pics and vids. I posted comments and wrote violent stories. BUT….I was paranoid that my identity might get out, so I turned off the Direct Messaging app. It took five years before I became comfortable enough to open up. It was like joining the site for a second time. A huge revelation. My identity remained my own, but I could now connect with anyone on the site.

I was prompted by a singular occurrence. One of our members made a public comment that he “wanted” to talk to me but couldn’t get through. Later, he said he “needed” to talk to me. And although he was someone I knew I’d want to know, I stayed incognito. He later left CDG and was not heard from again. The man was Octave, one of the most fascinating and talented members ever. His photos and videos depicting his own death were absolute artistry. Exceedingly sensual. He wanted to connect and I wouldn’t. That is my greatest regret on CDG.

I’m not saying you should turn Direct Messaging on, but at least give it some thought. Sometimes someone will post something you would like to comment on, but not publicly. DM allows you to speak confidentially with the poster. I’ve seen some excellent posts that might elicit thoughtful comments but the poster can’t be reached (like with me and Octave).

One more thing and I’ll shut up. If you like a comment, give the poster a heads up, a “like”. Or a frowny face if you’d rather. Just acknowledge that you’ve noticed them. When we post, we feel we have something to say to the community. Something fellow members might care to read. So, just click to say “Yeah, I read it”. “I liked it.” “Post more.” We all want CDG to survive and thrive. What better way than to say “Thank you, my friend, for sharing.”

Thanks for taking the time to read this. I love CDG, and Meatpie for putting it all together, and all of you who have joined our community. We are unique and deserve our own place to gather safely.

Yes little Caleb I finally came in your life and made you scared again, oh the depravity I want to do to you.
Also better than slice bread for you too lol.

Has happened to me, too.
Meeting people who were like me who were kind and cool and actually pretty mentally healthy did more for me than years of therapy. There seem to be a few genuinely sweet people on here, you strike me as being like that as well. I'm glad you were able to open up to people. No one is built for being alone x

Opening up to total strangers would be difficult. Opening up to members of CDG is not. First, I am anonymous. Second, and more important, if they are on this site, we probably have something in common. So, yeah, I have no qualms about opening myself completely. I've revealed all of my proclivities and cravings. A few may turn some off, and that's OK. Some stuff turns me off, too. So we just don't talk about some subjects. But I'm not ashamed of me. Most guys here know I'm a narcissist. I get off on The Man In The Mirror. I'd love to take me home and do wild things to myself. :titfuck::rude_footfetish::rude_anal::rude_hotkarl::ass fuck::fight::rude_churnit::rude_blowjob::punch::stroke::yummy:

Who cares about being anonymous, let chaos reign and see what happens, throw the infinite dice!! :spiked hair:
