A stunt wing walker has died after falling 200ft while attempting to climb from a plane on to a helicopter at an air show in Michigan.

Todd Green was attempting the move from a Stearman aircraft at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, in Harrison Township, when he lost his grip and fell.

An ambulance took him to Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center, but a hospital spokesman said Mr Green died from his injuries.

They invented cockpits and seat belts to prevent this kind of thing. It's hard to feel sorry for him as he choose to put himself in jeopardy knowing the risk. I feel kind of bad for the kids who had to see it happen. They'll have nightmares for awhile. I wonder how high he bounced when he hit the ground?
