BestGore is no longer updated because its owner Mark Marek lost both electricity and internet connection after Category 5 hurricane made direct landfall on the island of Dominica where he lives. Follow our updates on Hurricane Maria here.

This is the last message he posted on his blog shorly before the storm made landfall. The Telegraph posted an article a few minutes ago saying the island is completely devastated with every building damaged and infrastructure destroyed. Our website also nearly went down when Hurricane Harvey hit Houston so we understand how quickly these storms can destroy things that take years to build.
