unless its a direct blow to the heart, stab wounds in the torso don't kill instantly.
victims usually bleed internally faint and die from blood loss.
interestingly, if the knife is very sharp and the blow is quick victims often don't realize they have been stabbed until they see the wound/blood.
Those of you who have cut themselves will know that deep cuts don't hurt the moment they occur, pain comes later on.
Two men were stabbed in the backs in Sofia last week.
They didn't know they were stabbed.
One dude told his horrified friends, "my back feels wet, is this warm water"...
Then he sees the blood.
Dude than fainted and croaked from blood loss.
