Memphis Police are still investigating the fatal shooting that occurred in Parkway Village Saturday morning, Feb 8 2025.
At 10:31 a.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 4500 block of Winchester Rd near a business plaza.
A man was pronounced deceased on the scene.
The deadly shooting is renewing calls for extra layers of security in the area.
According to data from Memphis Police, there have been about 20 incidents within a quarter-mile radius of the shooting this year. Assaults and thefts are some of the crimes that were reported.
