Turning yourself in for execution

Just wondering if any other guys would turn themselves in to the police or authorities knowing they would be put to death, especially for minor infractions or law breaking. My current thought is receiving something like a red light ticket in the mail and being told to report to a processing center in the morning. Knowing full well I would be executed even for something so minor, I would still report in the morning and take my punishment like a man. Sit in the chair, hang by my neck, or line up and take a bullet (after stripping naked of course). Any other guys feel the same way?

I'd have them chase me but make sure they had a good idea as to my location at all times
The thrill of the chase makes the finale more interesting

Well if I were ask to appear in a town square to be burned at the stake naked, I just might.
