Tornadoes Rip Through Illinois at Least Two Killed by Storms

Photo posted on twitter shows flattened homes in Rochelle residents were injured some remained trapped for hours but no kills. The storm left two corpses the rural Illinois hamlet of Fairdale but so far no other information is available.

Wow, looks like bombs were dropped. I'm so glad I live on the very northern fringe of Tornado Alley! Due to a ripe atmospheric cocktail early in the year, the most violent tornadoes typically occur during the spring. For the sake of everyone to the south of me, i hope it's a quiet tornado season!
