We've all seen the brutual executions of men in Syria and Iraq that are taped on smart phones. We're told that the executions are based on religion and therefore that the killings are understandable. Do you buy that bullshit? A more simple explanation is that these executions are little more than thrill kills by men who like how it feels to shoot another man in the head at close range. The shooter may fantasize that the men he is shooting are naked and hard at the moment just before he pulls the trigger. In this context, a thrill kill carries far more passion that any prayers ever will to some man-made deity in the skies.
