I can almost hear his controlled panic in the first two panels as he tries so hard to stay on the plank. Then, in the next two panels, his louder terrified gasps and moans as he realizes he is about to die. But loudest of all is the silence of the final panel. This beautiful man died solely for someone's entertainment.
