Every year the LA County Morgue receives young dead actors for autopsy.

Actor Anton Yelchin, 27, who played Chekov in recent "Star Trek" movies, is in LA morgue after freak accident early Sunday morning on June 19.

Yelchin croaked outside his home in Los Angeles.

Dude stepped out of his car in the driveway of his Studio City home at around 1:10 a.m. PT when the car slid backwards and pinned him against a brick pillar and a security fence, causing trauma that led to his death.

very sad, good actor............

Yes, and handsome as hell. He must be awesome in morgue necros will photograph him naked on table and store the pics on their morgue computer. Some may even share with close friends.

LA coroner's report used the term traumatic asphyxiation. I'm guessing that he was pinned by the vehicle which slowly squeezed him, each breath getting smaller and smaller until he was too weak to suck in his last breath. He must have known it was the end. That might have been exciting in an angel lust way. It's a classic Final Destination ending.

Good analogy and observation about his Final Destination ending! Good thing the S T movie was already finished, or the studio would have been up shit's crick!

dead actors are good for box office. this could be studio plot to boost sales of the film!
