A body has been found in the search for missing swimmer Haydn Griffiths.

Merseyside police have confirmed that officers investigating the 23-year-old's disappearance found the body of a man on Sunday, July 24. Haydn went missing when swimming in the water in New Brighton at around 10.30pm on Tuesday, July 19.


The death is being treated as unexplained, and a post mortem examination will take place to establish the cause.
