Late 30s f looking for platonic friendship, any age doesn't matter (over 18 obvs). I'm not interested in any sexual stuff (not into the living in that way) just looking for a penpal or 2 who "gets it", I don't have any real irl friends, so I'm looking here. Making friends as an adult is difficult, and my mental issues, while very well-concealed, have not helped me in the slightest. I'm empathetic, not judgemental and a good listener, and I consider myself to be a pretty positive and encouraging person. My interests are art, (painting and sketching), writing stories, and photography. Im also interested in urban legends/unexplained phenomenon type things. Here you have little chance of meeting someone in real life given our dispersion across the world! For the rest, it is not the best place to share artistic emotions: the excitement that one can feel is of another style (even if there must be many of us to share both...)

I figured as much...love that painting BTW, that's gorgeous. I know the chances of me meeting actual friends irl or online are very slim - even as far as I can see on here, so far all I have in common with others is basically a shared proclivity for the dearly departed but what can I say, I'm a hopeless romantic and probably naive lol
