Darn, and the situation over here was only getitng calm again.
Hope there won't be any more pointless deaths.

Yes, well said Windsquid. And take care of yourself, sounds like Kiev isn't a very safe place at the moment.

My advise for those in these situations, is to be AWARE of the situations around you and AWARE of potential demonstrators who are ready for action. If you are next to someone with a slingshot, baton, molotov cocktail, it is in your best interest (if possible) to move away from them, due to it eliminates your chances of getting hit my a stray bullet or you being actually targeted due to guilty by association, in this case, happening to stand next to the Demonstrator with a weapon.

Before one does partake in events like this, I am stressing very strongly, you research about how to keep yourself safe in these situations.

Appreciate the concern, man!
Although I do not live in Kiev, the riots still happened yesterday in my city, and these violent savages crumbled the memorial of Lenin before my very eyes, all the while screaming and shouting like savage barbarians. I swear, my head is still pounding from all that ruckus. I wish to go back to Russia... :(

As a gay man, I suspect in long run you'll be safer in Ukraine - but you'll know the score on that beter than I do.
Anyway take care, sounds like it's still a hairy place.
