When we get old our feets will become like this:

I think they call that Hammer Toe in this country. It's often the result of arthritis or bursitis deforming the joint in the big toe. They correct it here with a minor surgery.

By the way, is the rest of Grandpa still attached and kicking?

No, grandpa Alexander croaked in 1994 from lung cancer and my other grandpa passed in 2004 from kidney failure.
