It's depressing enough to be elderly and poor. To be dead on top of it is just too much.

COULD BE A DUAL SUICIDE. POISON PERHAPS. THEY PROBABLY FIGURED THEY HAD NOTHING LEFT TO LIVE FOR, AND THUS OFFED THEMSELVES.
