Dozens injured at Komsomolskaya metro station in Moscow in a freak escalator accident

More than 15 people were injured after one of the escalators at the Komsomolskaya metro station in central Moscow suddenly started speeding up.

Passangers were piled ontop of each other and several people suffered broken limbs and cracked skulls.

No one died in the freak accident.
