Exclusive photos of dead Russian pilot Sergei Aleksandrovich Rumyantsev from Chelyabinsk, Russia shot down by Turkish fighter planes close to the border with Syria.

Still no offical informaiton from the Russian military but Russian newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda contacted Sergei's son who told them their father is alive and well and that rumours of his death were false.

"Whole family was in shock hearing such news but we called him on the phone and he is alright," Sergei's son told reporters.

Pilot of search and rescue helicopter who went out on misson shortly after the plane was shot down has also been killed.
