FormerCarlisle United and York City striker Craig Farrell has died at the age of 39.
Born in Middlesbrough, Farrell joined the Teesside club as a kid before moving to Leeds United in 1998.
Farrell never made an appearance for either side, but he went on to score 71 goals in 325 games for clubs including Carlisle and York. And Farrell's career also saw him star for the likes of Exeter City and Rushden & Diamonds. The ace also won three caps for England Under-16s, scoring once at the Euro U16s tournament in 1999.
