Autopsy on man with extensive melanoma

How can anyone do an autopsy like this? It is just SO DISGUSTING. The pathologist would never be able to wash himself clean. It's one thing to tidy up corpses for viewings, but something quite different when you get involved with grossly diseased tissue.
