Armed police shot dead a knifeman wearing a fake suicide vest on London Bridge today after he stabbed up to five people in a shocking terrorist attack as frightened crowds fled the scene.

Up to five people were stabbed before the knife maniac ran onto London Bridge shortly before 2pm, where dramatic video showed he was tackled to the ground by at least six heroic members of the public.

Seconds later police told people on top of the suspect to move away, before dragging the last bystander to safety and opening fire. Officers were heard shouting 'stop moving' twice before shooting the man at close range.

One of the brave heroes was on the other side of the bridge, before tackling the man and wrestling the knife off him. The suspect lay on the ground still moving as officers backed away - clearly fearing they were still in danger.

Police say the terrorist managed to stab a number of passers-by one person died later in hospital.

London Bridge attack victim named as Jack Merritt, 25 a handsome model



One of the people stabbed to death in Friday's attack at London Bridge has been named as University of Cambridge graduate Jack Merritt. He was only 25 and mighty handsome unlike his attacker.

Just to remind you dude was one of two people killed yesterday when 28-year-old Usman Khan launched the attack at a Cambridge University conference on prisoner rehabilitation.

The tragedy is that the guy was involved in voluntarily trying to help to rehabilitate the murderer and that Khan was seen as a success before he turned rogue. The other victim, also a Cambridge graduate, was hoping to join the police.
If there is an afterlife hope khan is getting his just desserts.
Another interesting issue. Both Johnson and Corbyn are already blaming each other’s parties for the massacre. Some things never change!!!!
