An Argentinian singer and model (Who lived in Mallorca, Spain) was shot and killed by motorcycle riding bandits just days before he was set to star on a reality television show, according to reports.
Fede Dorcaz, 29, was shot three times — including once in the neck — on Thursday in the Amplacion Daniel Garza neighborhood, the Secretariat of Citizen Security of Mexico City.
Officials have not announced a motive and have no suspects in custody but the incident was an apparent attempted robbery, according to multiple outlets.
The singer and model was on the way home from dance rehearsals when two motorcycles intercepted the vehicle and fired multiple shots.
In mere days, Dorcaz was set to appear on Mexican dance competition show “Las Estrellas Bailan En Hoy” — which translates to “The Stars Dance Today” —- which mourned the loss of the rising star.
Dorcaz was known in Mexico for his hits “No Eres Tu” and Cara Bonita” which both charted in the Top 10 on Mexican radio, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
He also modeled for Giorgio Armani and Dolce & Gabbana, that outlet reported.
