Mate, another angle is that with such pre-testing, only the RICH may eventually be able to afford such screening ... creating a MasterRace while all else are then consigned to all the usual afflictions to THEN be seen as "inferior races"
... which is indeed a very worrisome possiblity!
And given how this world is fastly developing more than ever between the MegaHAVES and the HAVE NOTS or HAVE LITTLES, this COULD very much be the way it ultimately develops!

I disagree, just because negatives or ethical condundrums result from new scientific knowledge doesn't mean that research should stop just because people are too lazy to address them when they arise.
