El Nino is just starting yet parts of the world are already experiencing catastrophic weather events and scientists say this is just a taste of what is to come in the next couple of months as El Nino intensifies extrme weather will affect more and more countries across the world. Over 20 people have so far been confirmed dead after torrential rains caused epic flooding in Houston and Dalls.

2015 has been the hottest year on record so far.

It's really weird - talked to my sister in Houston yesterday and she said the flooding was sporadic. Her area wasn't really affected at all, yet you can see from the news that areas that were hit were hit pretty hard.

No good explanation, I guess...
