16-year-old hit by car spends weeks in coma but wakes up and survives

A 16-year-old lad was run over by a car in Ukraine in December last year. He suffered a basilar skull fracture and deep penetrating head trauma. He spent weeks in deep coma in hospital and in 2018 developed complications like sepsis with high fever. Miraculously in the first months of 2018 he regained consciounsess and was able to see his parents and family. He weighed only 40 kg when he woke up.
