Metalmachine, I was just listening to a radio adaptation of Dickens' A Christmas Carol...and the word "IRONMONGERY" was used, right in the opening scene! That is a word you introduced us to a while back, and it is indeed a wonderful word to know. We should all try to work it into our daily speech. For instance, you could stop a passerby on the street and say, "Can you direct me to the nearest ironmongery?" It's just that easy to ensure that a classic word remains a part of our living language.
