The young man who was seriously injured on Saturday morning (10) in an accident on Ocean Avenue, in front of the Bahia Othon Palace Hotel, was transferred from hospital this afternoon. José Ferraz, 24, was sent to the Hospital Alliance, where he will be treated. He was with his friend Ricardo Neves da Rocha, 24, who died in the crash.
The two were returning from a party that marked the reopening of the Ego nightclub, the hotel Pestana, in the Red River. Ricardo ran the Fiat Stilo that flipped and ended up crashing into a pole at about 6am.
The two young men were rescued from cars in Mobile Service (Samu). Richard succumbed to his injuries and died during treatment at the Hospital General of the State (HGE). Joseph also was taken to the medical unit in serious condition.
Ricardo was studying law at the Catholic University of Salvador. The body is veiled in the Campo Santo Cemetery and will be buried on Sunday (11) at 11am.
