A severe weather warning has been issued in parts of Britain as Arctic winds will sweep though Western Europe and reach as far south as Bulgaria by Saturday.

So far calm and sunny here but with just a few hours of daylight nights have become brutally cold.

EPIC RAIN

Buckets of water have been pouring from the sky here for three weeks now day and night.

Sometimes the rain is falling with such force it can break your umbrella.

Cafes and shops have closed because of lack of clients.



Older people here say they can't remember such bad weather in April and indeed weather records show that last time there were such intense and heavy rains in Bulgaria was more than 20 years ago.
