A teenage couple who called themselves Bonnie and Clyde may have been killed by heavily armed police who stormed their hideaway in Pskov region, Northern Russia.

Katya Vlasova and Denis Muravyov, 15, were reported by law enforcement to have shot themselves after special forces troops tracked them down to a village house where they had lived alone for three days after rowing with their parents.

During the clash, they shot at police up to 30 times, and refused to give themselves up, while the Denis vowed: 'I'm going out in style'.

Katya's distraught mother was shot in the hip by Denis as she tried to make them end their resistance.

Denis's mother Olga Muravyova was also at the scene desperately seeking to broker an end to the stand off.

The two mothers are now 'crushed' by their deaths of their children, and both have been interviewed by police.

Prosecutors in Pskov region insist they did kill themselves.

But there are now doubts from online analysis in Russia that the couple killed themselves when police stormed the house in Strugi Krasnye, 49 miles from the city of Pskov.

that's sad...wonder what triggered all of this to happen...both kids looked like great kids...there must have been an underlying problem for these kids to be sought out by police and kill themselves or be killed
