In Brazil is a very common problem is the boys playing with kite with "cerol" (powder of glass in line of kite), resulting in cut-throat. Search in Google "Acidentes linha cerol"

Glass in kite strings is found around the world where boys play competitive kite-flying, but it's not as common as in Brazil, I guess, where you get these really nasty deaths...
