Young couple 36 and 33 both police officers in various departments escalated a marital argument from the home out into the alley behind their house according to neighbours. There was a lot of shouting and then a single gunshot was heard followed a few seconds later by a second gunshot.
Police found both had been shot in the head.
The initial police report said that they shot one another with their service weapons but the investigation determined that the husband first the first shot at his wife then turned the gun on himself while he was still standing over her body.
They leave behind an 8 month old baby daughter.
