Permission to post media

Hey there I wanted to post some pics in media but when I go to media and click "add media" I'm told I don't have permission for this? Is adding media only for elite members?

To avoid strain on our server only trusted elite members are allow to upload in our media section.

You are welcome to post freely everywhere else around the site.
