Obama authorizes airstrikes in Iraq against Islamic State: Should USA go back to war?

Obama has authorized "targeted airstrikes" in Iraq to stop the militant group Islamic State from taking over Iraq and Syria and making them one islamic nation which they already proclaimed on 29 June, 2014.

Thousands of kids, men and elderly people are fleeing into the mountains of Iraq with no food or water as the Islamic State rapidly advances and takes controls of cities and towns across Iraq.

Many fear America could be dragged back into a long and bloody war in Iraq to stop this new threat many consider worse than Al-Qaeda.

What do you think, should the USA go back to war?

We never should have left .. If we had not backed off what we started - this could have been avoided. Instead we fueled it with funding. Now he is talking about air strikes with no possibility of ground support. So we will blow up a few buildings and miss everything important. We've seen it over and over. He's got them shakin now! They will just move their weaponry to places filled with civilians and scream that we are bombing innocent women and children. These people are cowards and should be dealt with as such. They need to be hung in the streets just as they are doing to innocents. They will cower like the cowards that they are. They know we won't do that, because it is not humane. Therefore, they are winning and until we realize this they will win!

I agree. It was a huge mistake.

Islamic State have stolen tanks, trucks, cars and tons of weapons donated to Iraq from the United States army and are now using it to kill and threaten civilians.

Not a lot of media report on this but a new documentary by Vice news released a few hours ago shows exclusive footage of IS fighters riding in American tanks.

We should never have gone there in the First Place. Now if you can't bomb the living fuck out of them from the air then leave. Do not send in Solders. The only one who want's to bomb the living fuck out of them is the King of Jordan. We should supply all the bombs he wants.
