More than 50 people are feared dead after a TransAsia Airways passenger plane crashed on one of Taiwan's Penghu islands a few minutes ago. :totalshock:

At least nine other people were injured in the crash of the twin-engine turboprop plane, which happened outside Magong airport at about 7 p.m.

The cause of the crash is not yet know some reports say the plane was trying to make an emergency landing.

Another one??? RIP to those who have lost their lives ,what a horrible way to die. :/

2014 very bad absolutely deadly year for the aviation industry. There were a total of 54 passengers and four crew on board this plane. We are trying to get more information through local news websites.

Stay with CDG for exclusive updates on this new plane crash.

The plane requested to fly off again at the point of landing in heavy rain (around 59mm), and crashed out of sudden. Several houses were affected, with some body parts left on wall.
Quite a lot of information inconsistency at the moment, in terms of total passengers and confirmed fatalities. Since the plane crashed within Taiwan territory and the authority reached the crash scene in minutes, most probably there won't be much gore photos leaking out.

Yes and it's already dark in Taiwan we won't see much from that crash.

No dead pics, but some profiles of the victims to share.

This guy, an army from elite force, was about to return to his hometown (Penghu) from duty. Typhoon stepped in first, but he insisted going back. In the end, he boarded the ill-fated plane. As of now, his body has yet to be identified.
His friends described him as a cheerful hunk who always showed his body shape (from physical training) in tight singlets in social media.

This guy moved with family from Penghu Island to Kaoshiung (in main island) since young. This time, he brought his new girlfriend there to visit the place he grew up. In order to escape from family's objection to fly during typhoon season, he only informed his mother by snapping her a photo of flight ticket on that afternoon. His height was over 180cm, but due to severed legs in this incident, it's now less than 170cm. His mother cried and asked for his legs being sewn back before cremation.

These two girls are French students participating exchange program in National Taiwan University. This was supposed to be their summer break vacation to Penghu, yet they didn't make it.

So sad... the first guy was really cute and sexy... RIP all of the passengers

I heard there are unscathed survivors. One girl just crawled out of the wreckage then borrowed a phone from the gathering people to call her mom that her plane just crashed and she would just have to walk home and then proceeded to um... walk home!

Today's TV news said he play a role in the upcoming militant TV drama...
The cruel fact is that his body is severely damaged, and the only way to identify him is via DNA from his relatives....
