Sagid, 36 years old and originally from Michoacán, died due to electrocution caused by an electric shock while he was in a jacuzzi inside a hotel in Ixtapa, Zihuatanejo municipality, Guerrero.
The incident occurred during his summer vacation with his family.
In the video that went viral on social media, Sagid can be seen starting to experience electric shocks inside the jacuzzi. Then he tries to get out of the jacuzzi but ended inside and shocked.
Autopsy report said he dies by a heart attack due to electric shock.
His wife said that Sagid was in the hotel jacuzzi when suddenly he felt electric shocks and got out of the jacuzzi toward the railing. He waited for a while for hotel staff to arrive and fix the jacuzzi problem, but when no one came, Sagid tried to get out on his own but fell back into the jacuzzi and was electrocuted.
His wife also mentioned that the hotel did not have medical services to assist her husband. They called a coastal lifeguard who arrived with a defibrillator, but it was broken and not working, and then nothing could be done to save Sagid’s life.
