On the morning of 23rd May 2015 in Boeung Chhouk, Cambodia 35 yo man was found dead.
He had been robbed of his car, a large sum of money and a diamond watch. His robbers beat the man to death, wrapped him in a sack and dumped his body near a canal.
The family of the victim who was an import and export commodity officer at the Ministry of Commerce stated that he had attended a wedding the previous day.
Next year several men were handed life sentences for the murder.
Apparently the men lured the victim to a drinking session. It seems that they plied him with alcohol until he was out of it then strangled robbed and dumped him.
