Youth World Championship boxer Rashed Al-Swaisat has sadly died aged 19 after undergoing brain surgery. The Jordanian collapsed in the third round of his bout with Anton Winogradow in Poland earlier this month.

Al-Swaisat lost the first two rounds of the fight and dropped to the canvas in the third but it is unknown if his injury occurred as a result of the trading of rubber.
Ten days after undergoing brain surgery the teenager has sadly passed away.
A statement from the AIBA read: "It is with deep sadness that we learned of the passing of Rashed Al-Swaisat of Jordan, who had been admitted to hospital on April 16 further to his fight during the AIBA YWCHs.
