That was my impression too. With pressure on the carotids, the heart can be stopped instantly. I suspect this probably happened for him.
A lot of people just tense up when hanged. Sometimes there is unconscious pelvic thrusting or a "walking" motion, but rarely the type of dance you see in movies. No, the heart does not stop instantly, but in drop hangings a transection of the cervical vertebrae can cause instant unconsciousness. That didnt seem to be the case here, as he likely lost consciousness within 5-10 seconds.
Good find, Ropetrick. Now if some of that video can find it's way out of the country.
