Good evening and welcome to our exclusive video collection covering the Gaza−Israel War of October 2023.

On 7 October 2023, multiple Palestinian militant groups, primarily Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, along with other groups such as the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, launched a surprise attack on Israel from the Gaza Strip with a rocket barrage, and vehicle-transported attacks across the border on Israeli communities and forces.

In total, at least 2,200 rockets were fired from Gaza, causing hundreds of Israeli casualties and prompting the government of Israel to declare a state of emergency and war. The rocket attacks were accompanied by Palestinian militant infiltration into kibbutzim surrounding Gaza and the Israeli city of Sderot, with both Palestinian and Israeli media reporting that Israeli soldiers and civilians had been taken hostage.

More than 150 Israelis were killed today and almost 1,000 wounded.

Over 200 were killed in the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.

Netanyahu: Today's attacks by Hamas are on a level that "has never been seen in Israel"​

The Gaza militant attacks that have left at least 200 people dead and hundreds injured are unprecedented, Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said late Saturday.

"What happened today has never been seen in Israel. We will take mighty vengeance for this black day," Netanyahu said in a televised speech from Israel's Government Press Office, which was carried by Reuters.

"Israel will reach every place Hamas is hiding," Netanyahu said, referring to the militant group behind the attacks. "I tell Gaza's people to leave those places now."
He also referred to the Israeli soldiers and civilians taken hostage by Hamas fighters.

"I tell Hamas, you are responsible for wellbeing of captives. Israel will settle the score with anyone who harms them," the prime minister said.

On Saturday, October 7th, Hamas terrorists ambushed a civilian vehicle entering Kibbutz Be'eri and murdered its occupants. The terrorists then proceeded to slaughter more than 100 residents of the kibbutz. 10% of the kibbutz's population was massacred.
