French reggae singer Martin Mussard, known by his stage name Naâman, died on Friday at the age of 34 after a long battle with a brain tumor. Diagnosed in 2019, he left behind a vibrant musical legacy and a final song, “Mon Amour,” released in December as a testament to his life and art, French channel CNews reported.

Born in Normandy, Naâman became a leading figure in French reggae, known for hits like “Outta Road,” which garnered 30 million views, and “Own Yourself,” with over 8 million streams.

His label, Big Scoop Records, described him as an artist who celebrated life and left a lasting impact on his fans and collaborators.

Naâman’s career included over 70 songs, five albums, and numerous collaborations, showcasing his ability to transcend reggae and connect with a wide audience.
