This death is a follow-up to this thread.
After capturing Luis "Buwaya" Mangubat (played by Jun Hidalgo), the vigilante group Vendetta interrogated him about Sen. Mateo de Silva (played by Joko Diaz) and Emilio Syquia (played by Eddie Garcia)'s whereabouts. Although he led them to their hideout, he sacrificed himself by alerting his fellow henchmen.
