This Wednesday, the former deputy of the Democratic Party of Albania, Gerti Bogdani, died at the age of 44, due to a cardiac arrest.
He was drinking coffee in the premises of the Rogner hotel in Tirana, when he showed concern. But after he was late, his worried friends went to the toilet and forced open the door.
They found the former PD deputy lying on the ground and gave him first aid. Then they called an ambulance, but according to witnesses, it was delayed.
A reaction to the death of the former deputy has also come from his wife, Edlira Çepani.
Through a reaction on social networks, Çepani has announced that the next day the tributes and the farewell ceremony will be held in the hall of the plenary sessions of the Parliament.
Çepan's wife has announced that the burial will take place in Sharra cemetery.
Bogdani became one of the youngest mayors in Albanian history in 2007, when he was elected as the mayor of Borough No. 10 in Tirana.
