The motorcycle racer Filipo Momesso 24, who was competing in the Italian Speed Championship (CIV), was found dead at his home in Trento (northern Italy) due to a sudden death, according to local media.

The Italian Motorcycle Federation (IMF) reported this Monday of the death of the young pilot: “Mourning in the world of motorcycling. Filippo Momesso “He has been found dead in his home in Trento, where he was studying at university.

“The entire IMF, starting with President Giovanni Copioli, sends its condolences to Momesso’s family at this difficult time,” the organization added in the statement.

Filipo Momesso, born in Motta di Livenza, province of Treviso (north), he was studying university in Trento, where this past July he graduated in Informatics Engineering.

The first hypotheses, according to the Italian media, point to a sudden death.

Momesso participated during his career in the CIV, in the National Trophy and in the Aprilia RS 660 Cupa competition in which he had reached the podium in the race held at the beginning of September on the Mugello circuit (Florence, north).
