Towards the end, after she is already burning - the girl screams to get more gas poured over her bc she is in pain. I assume that she probably helped cartels take or kill people in that community. The children are watching, which is so traumatic long term - but i think the children are watching un phased bc of all the killings they see around them regularly. This is one of the reasons why assume she did something against this community.
