Young farmer was working in a field in the Indian state of Gujarat when a lioness attacked and eviscerated him.
When a forest department team arrived yhey found the lioness perched on the victim's chest refusing to budge. The feline's aggression forced officials to seek the assistance of an earthmover and tractor to drive her away from the body.
The lioness was then tranquilized and captured before being relocated to an animal care centre.
