Eight People Drown after Boat Capsized in the Dominican Republic

On the morning of 25th November 2021 in Miches, Dominican Republic 8 people drowned when their boat capsized.

They were on their way to Puerto Rico despite warnings from the Navy that on that day sailing was dangerous due to high seas.

At the Celedonio beach members of the Dominican Republic Navy later recovered the dead bodies of 6 women and 2 men in total 23 others were rescued.
