Mohammed Salah has led tributes to his former international team-mate Ahmed Refaat, who has died at the age of 31.
Refaat - who scored two goals in seven senior appearances for Egypt between 2013 and 2022 - previously collapsed on the field during a game in March.
Refaat was playing for Modern Future FC against Al Ittihad Alexandria in the Egyptian Premier League when he suddenly fell to the ground and was rushed to hospital.
He was then placed in intensive care but was discharged from hospital one month later when he returned home.
However, Refaat - who had been fitted with a pacemaker - tragically passed away in the early hours of Saturday morning following a heart attack.
