Dead Reenactors

There are just SO MANY good images here, it's very difficult to pick out one favorite. These are two of the notable photos because they show more than one young soldier, living or dead, in the same photo, so it's easier for me to imagine them having hot sex the night before (and you KNOW they did)...

If this young soldier in tall boots die, another soldier, grey or blue, will got a new pair for himself. Maybe the thief not await the soldier's death.

I can't seem to edit my posts so I'm just going to repost all the fixed links

I admire the reenactors' dedication to realism. Most of the photos posted in this thread could pass for the real deal. I wonder, though, if actual war veterans might think it insensitive to recreate, for fun, the sort of horrors they lived through (or died in).

Did Abe Lincoln really walk out onto the battlefield and contemplate the dead?

cdg321, I always enjoy looking at the photos you post (especially those depicting the U.S. Civil War), but I can't claim to be "really into" them...not to the extent that you are. Nonetheless, I hope you will continue to share your images with us.

Here are some more I've found. My favorite is the boy being carried away.
