I constantly respected the glory of his dead brothers," Marianna Kolos's mother said.
During the full-scale invasion, Nazariy was the youngest among the Azovs, who defended Mariupol for three months. Received a few wounds. At Azovstal, Nazariy urged: "Love your mother, eat porridge and love Ukraine." This video was one of the symbols of resistance to Russian aggression.
In May 2022, the defender was captured from Azovstal, where he spent 4 months. After his release, together with his comrades-in-arms, he founded the "Contact 12" unit. He was the commander of the platoon of optical observers.
Junior Lieutenant Nazariy Hryntsevych was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the III degree, the medal "For Military Service to Ukraine", the award of the Ministry of Defense "Firearms", the badge "For Courage", the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi of the III degree (posthumously).
"Grenka is a man with a capital letter who was a true patriot and nationalist of our country," her mother added. – Nazariy did his whole conscious age for the independence of Ukraine, so we must carry memories of it through our whole life and proudly tell our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren about it.”
The defender was buried on the Alley of Slavy of the Sabriv Cemetery in Vinnytsia.
